diy shunyata research (Helix Geometry) cable?

here is stratos ic clone, little shorter (70cm)
waiting for wbt rca connectors and spare time to test
Have pair of kimber KCAG, cant wait to compare :cool:

Why power cables and speaker cables use dual helix geometry(two drain wires/cores) but signal cables use single helix geometry?
not really think about that i just copy original cables but i think that that there is no big difference.power cords are easy to braid with more wiresnot shure:confused:and dear friends sorry for my long absence have some health problems small brain stroke but going well now

I think that helix alpha is ok for power cable but is not so for signal cable
The reason is that when You try to project signal cable You work with different AWG and the best thing is to use couple that are at 90 degree on the cable.
On this way is the best condition for RF EMI .
But if You work in a condition like helix alpha the magnetic field product from a awg meet the ground of another couple of conductor of different awg.
The best with signal cable, is to work with couple of conductor.
