If I were to use single strand shielded wire (eg. Belden 9221 or RG174) as pcb hookup wire, how do I ground the shielding? Specifically I'd like to know how to ground the shielding from and to the volume potentiometer, zoebel network, RCA connectors, TSR connector, and transformer wires. Of course this presupposes that using shielded hookup wire is a good idea.
Cheers. |

As near to the centre wires connection point as possible is usual then both wires can be conviently soldered. Though if you use spider leg star grounding It wouldn't matter that much, best method is ground areas (high current, signal) with a strong connection point.
