Does anybody have experience with “stacked” toroids??
For a mono amp design that I am working on, I need to put two 500W toroids into a small cabinet. What is the best way? To stack then horizontally with app. 1 cm (0,4”) space between them for air circulation, or fit the vertically app. 2,5 cm (1”) apart???? I am not only thinking about the heat from each toroid, but also the magnetic induction between them.

Look here.
Stacking toroids - Ok? Normally no problem with stacking toroids on top of each other. I have used this in one of my subs, 2 pcs. of 240 VA and worked alright for years. The transformers are normally cool.
