I am working on an amp where a previous repair shop has changed the stock transistors from 2SD716/2SB688 to 2SA1492/2SC3856
Comparing the datasheet's I see that the voltage and current rating of the 1492/3856 devices is higher but the rest of the specs look similar. I'm curious to know if these devices are close enough to be an acceptable swap as i have more of the 1492/3856 devices on hand but not the 716/688 devices. Im wondering if there is a reason i should change these devices back.my only hesitation is the added time to order the parts. http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/data...NGS/2SB688.pdf http://www.classiccmp.org/rtellason/...ta/2sa1492.pdf Zc |
