probably a dumb question i'll get flak for.... but as aaron neville said, "i don't know much..."
i much prefer the sound of nichicon kz to es caps for coupling. can i just replace my es (bi polar) 22uf coupling caps with a pair of 10uf kz (polar caps) connected in parallel but opposite phase (ie one connected in the way of the signal path and the other the opposite of the signal path as regards to positive orientation but the leads connected together)? cheers.

A bipolar or non polarised cap is made by connecting two identical caps in series not parallel, with either the plus or negs connected together... so you would need two 47uf caps in series
