A piece of wire has inductance.
I can't imagine any problem within the audio band: Unless you put a core, such as a fixing stud through the middle.

Non Inductive Speakers?
But most speakers present an inductive load too.
So is the issue with non-inductive dummy loads is to be able to take accurate output readings?
If this is the case, are inductive dummy loads OK if you are just trying to run an amp at power without endangering your speakers and deafening the neighbors?
