I have a bunch of inductors lying around, and I don´t know if they are of any use in audio gear...

It´s the kind that are used in fluorescent light armatures, you know like over the kitchen sink, in "solariums", ie. "artificiall sun-taning lightning" and so on. Anyone knows what I´m talking about?

They are dimensioned for a 100W "light-tube" and 220V/50Hz net.
Internal resistance is about 10 ohms and the core is laminated.

I was thinking I could use them as load in a clas A amp and/or as filter coils in powersupply for low powered class A amps and low level electronics.

Dump them in the trash-can or save them for future projects?

Thanks :)

/Peter
