Feel free to vote and post your thoughts.

I've seen a lot of those "witch" Fuhjiyus causing power supply failures. I prefer to replace those with Sanyo OS-CONs.

Of these, I believe the Panasonic FC has the lowest ESR.

Cheers!

I was tossing up between Panasonic FM and the Nichicon FG, neither of which I have used (have used the Panasonic FC's)

Geek the FM's have a lower ESR than the FC's according to the datasheet 40-70% Less!

I just checked the max value at 25V and it is only 2700 uF The FC's go up to 5600 uF at 25V and the nichicon FG's 3300 and the rubycon ZL's 2700uF so depending on what values you need the choice may need to be made based on what values you can get! in each series...

Hi Tony,

donīt think much about the max. capacitance at 25V. If i would like to have more, i could insert an additional cap.

Therefore i limit the question only the voltage.

Best regards,
Oliver

I've been very happy with the panny FM series. If I can't get that I use FC.

I think a "witch cap" flies on a broom.
