Soft Recovery Axial Type Rectifier Diodes
 

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that Mouser will have quite a few of
these in stock soon. The Vishay SRP100K. 800v/1A axial type. The current data
sheet from Vishay does not say anything about soft recovery, but the original
data sheet from General Instrument does, and I verified with an engineer from
Vishay that the diode design has not changed since the days of GI.

This is a great replacement when modifying gear that has the classic 1N4000
series installed.

I had a bunch of these a while back and they made a noticeable improvement in
everything I put them in. Definitely highly recommended.
