I'm planning on building a pair line array speakers for my outdoor theater system. Presently, I'm using a Yorkville dual 18" subwoofer, a pair of Yorkville 15" woofer/1" horn stage monitors (rear), and a pair of Yamaha dual 15" woofers/1" horn club series (front). Sounds good, but I don't have that blown away feeling. I'm thinking of constucting a line array using eight Delta Pro-8 (8") or Pro-10 (10") speakers and possibly pairing each speaker to a suitable tweet. My objective is crystal clear upper base/mid/high freqs at mind blowing sound pressure levels. My outdoor theater is mainly devoted to live concert videos. Any ideas out there?
