Default Transistor replacement/upgrade help

I am working on 2 different amps - one vintage and one not so vintage. I would like to replace the key transistor pairs with upgrades to improve audio quality and stability.
  • 2SD555 and 2SB600 complementary pairs
  • 2SA1358/2SC3421 pairs
Any feedback/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
