I need a double-pole, double-throw to facilitate an HT-bypass function on a passive pre-amp I am building.
I could use a rotary but as there are only 2 states - through the attenuator or direct - a simple push button would seem the best option. But it needs to be decent quality and I will need to fit some aesthetically appropriate cap on the top. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

I have been using NKK switches (available at Mouser.com) - they make nice push button switches that mount in round holes and have flush square or round caps, opaque or illuminated. Check out their catalog at nkk.com --look at their HB, KB and YB series.

Mountain Switch also makes some decent switches (they're also available at Mouser).

I've used NKK and Mountain from Mouser. The NKK's are very very nice and there are a lot of options. Go check out their web site.
