I am looking for a RCA connector that has 8 contacts on it. Like you would find on the back of a 7.1 analog out Bluray player. Anyone have a source? I have tried the usual, Mouser, Digikey, Farnell
It would be used on something like this, see the LHS: http://www.oppodigital.com/blu-ray-b...83_back_hr.jpg |

This probably doesn't help you, but I have scavenged them from other equipment.
Otherwise get 4 2 connector ones. |

You will probably have to find it on some other product and scavenge it, or get REAL lucky. Or invent something. Those manufacturers get such connectors made to their spec for their boards, they don;t usually buy them off the shelf.

Try to take a look at Kunming Electronics Co. They have what you are looking for and a lot more. Whether they are willing to deliver small quantities I don't know. I have done some business with them some years ago (professionally). As far as I remember I was able to buy some samples (prepaid) before buying for mass production. The quality of their products is excellent. If you look at their customer list you will find that it is rather impressive too.

The problem is finding them with the same footprint.

Hard wire individual jacks would be simplest solution

Do you intend to solder to PCB/wire? Horizontal / Vertical? (Straight or 90 degree)

I am still looking for a good solution, I need a PCB mount right angle dual vertical RCA set. They need to be spaced on 14mm x 14mm centers. I found some at Digikey and thought I could combine 4 sets of two to make the eight outputs but they end up being spaced farther than 14mm apart. I have found a few offshore companies but no one replies.
