Default quad ganged 50k linear poti...

Hi,

I want to build Cyril Batemans notch filter. Therefore, I would need a good quality (plastic?) Poti wit 4 levels. Anybody knows who sells??? I don't want an extremely expensive "high-end" pot - just good quality. It shouldn't be to big as well...

Please give me your part comments...

Dirk

You can, if you want, make up a 4-gang from high quality Vishay pots:

TGM Amplifier ?

Yes, you think of Vishay 9A (plastic) and 9P (cermet) Types... Which is superior? Cermet or plastic?

I see a problem with the right axis - if I use a stereo lin pot, I would need a longer axis. Where could I get it? (I think, screws will not be troublesome...)

Hi,

You're looking for the Noble V12L5 series or the like, maybe?

Cheers!

Hi Geek,

it's for a measurement app, so the vishay shows more appropriate...

Hi,

I used this:

4,Panel Mount PCB Dual Triple-Deck Linear 50k Pots,P001 - eBay (item 300357248095 end time Oct-21-09 00:19:34 PDT)

Out of the four in the lot I found one with relatively good tracking.

Cheap and adequate for the job.

Regards,
George
