Default Wima part ID

I have several circuit boards to salvage some parts from.

Many are small through-hole Wima box types. I found info on 'too small to explicitly mark' series, 'decoded' by box color, epoxy fill color and marking color.
I think they were all PPS dielectric.

However, this chart only covered red box caps...

I have some green box Wima caps with yellow epoxy fill and black or gray markings, but found no mention of green boxes and got no reply.

Anyone recognize this description?

Thanks

Murray

Wima has changed capacitor body color and marking over the years. Green caps were polypropylene in the old series.

Probably they're FKP2, I've some 3300pF FKP2 that are green too.

From my old Wima catalog, green body with black lettering can be FKP2 (foil) or MKP2 (metallized). Capacitance above .033uF is MKP2. Between .01uF and .033uF it could be either one and other characteristics need to be examined. 63V parts are FKP2 only as the MKP2 series starts at 100V. To finally resolve the series, measure the case dimensions - FKP2 parts are larger. I can scan the relevant catalog pages and make them available if there is any interest.
