Hi, im new to the forum and id like know if it is possible to make my own powered monitor from scratch. It's project id like to start during the winter. Ive been gathering some info but I can't seem to find any plans for a powered monitor. Im not really an audio expert but I think I can manage, I know my way around electronics. I would be using my monitor for djing in my bedroom. Im a student so if I can save some money to build them myself, it would help alot at the end of the month :P .
Thank you |

Start with a speaker design you'd like...ZaphAudio, HTGuide, PE's project pages, or here are all good sources for monitor ideas. Then add an amp like this one: http://apexjr.com/Dual25FR.html
