I prefer soldering. Those spade connectors on speakers or terminals, are not always true to size. Those on speakers usually come pre-tinned, and sometimes the cable may fit snugly or not. Sometimes you get a loose contact and sometimes you have to push the connector so hard over the spade, that you almost break it.
Call me a controlfreak, but when I'm soldering everything depends on my skill alone and not on some weird far away manufacturers quality control. regards |
