Does anyone know where i can get good quality Toroids in germany (300va, twin primarys would be nice, 2x25V out). Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
So far, best quality one i can find are from toroidity which is a polish company. They make special audio grade one, custom build and take about 30 days for it to finally get to me. This isnt an issue, i just wanted to see if i can find a better price. They quoted 104,50euro inc shipping for 2. Shipping is 25 euros. So any ideas on somewhere closer? I am located in Wolfsburg. Thanks for any help! |

http://www.netzgeraet.de/index.html?...fos_300_va.htm I can't vouch for the quality - you'll have to see if the specifications are suitable for your application. (I went to google.de and searched for: Ringkerntrafos 300 VA) Regards, Steve |

It's not Germany but US.
I've trade with this company, quite reliable and good prices including shipping. Ask for John, he'll give you a quote. Let him know you're from DIYAudio. Hope this could help. http://www.antekinc.com/price1.html |

the RS ones are great value for the money, i use them in all of my Amps. No hum or buzzing at all. Be carefull with the mounting always use brass screws for big seized transformers.
