it would be great if we can turn on all your system with just a touch of button! more like kinda TV standby mode, and device like if i fell asleep when listening to my system it would be automatically shutdown
i wonder if this "thing" can be applied to audio systems i.e CDP,DAC,preamp, and amp maybe im kinda lazy |

Don't they sell stuff like this, where you live.
http://www.intertechno.at/produkte/z...ker/index.html There are also remote controllers with timers available that switch an outlet on or off at preprogrammed hours. http://www.intertechno.at/produkte/sender/index.html

There are also 'sensed' power strips that will turn on the equipment, when it senses that one device (in the sensed outlet) has been turned on.
If you have one piece of equipment with a remote, you could just use it to power on/off everything else. Something like this: http://www.smarthomeusa.com/ShopByMa...td./Item/LCG5/ There are others also. |

The easy way is to wire a switch to be the master switch.
Use a hybrid digital amplifier and you won't even have to worry about leaving it on all night. Hybrid digitals use very little power to idle with no output. (The DSP in a pure digital can contribute to a high idling loss, but it should be simple to program it to enter standby when there's no signal, even turning off the main power supply. Some sound cards can be set to not output a signal when not in use, which can be used to automatically put pure digital amplifiers into standby.)
