Upgrade the Musical Fidelity X-PRE
Hello all.
I have an X-PRE of which I would love to upgrade and replace all of the cheap internals. I have found this Thread: Modifying a Musical Fidelity X-Pre .. but I can't reply or email any of the people involved in the tread as my account is under moderation??? Anyway... What I'm after is a parts list and instructions to do the mod. I'm ok with a soldering iron, but thats as far as I go when it comes to electronics. Total respect to Kepa1 who has upgraded his X-Pre. I am going to embark on the Rock Grotto X-10D upgrade soon too, so can anyone tell me if the X-PRE is pretty much the same beast? If anyone can help me that would be really great. I coould do with some guidence. Many thanks Joe |
