I'm sourcing parts for an Eric Wallen Jig v2 for speaker workshop measurements.
It's here: http://mysite.verizon.net/tammie_eri...jig2/jig2.html Given that the mains power here is 240v, I wonder if this means any changes. Zener diodes - 5.1v are specified but should they be any different? Can I just use diodes with a higher rating?

you're testing on the low voltage side. There will be an isolating transformer between your experiments and mains.
Your are not testing the mains voltage. No changes irrespective of the mains supply voltage.
