Hi.
I want to realize a millenium bypass circuit for guitar effect http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folder...ium/millen.htm Can I utilize the BF245 instead of MPF-102? Many Thanks! PS: The BF245 can repleace the BS-170? |

Hi gamberone the BF245 should work fine as it has a similar Vgs to the BS170, and you can always test it on a breadboard first of course
I have built this circuit myself and can probably give you some troubleshooting pointers if you get stuck. Happy building -Telemin- |

You can replace MPF102 for a BF245, but you'll have to twist it 180º. The BS170 is a MOSFET, not a JFET, so BS170 works for Millenium 2!
