Todays DIY event: Making some respectable spades.

Brass, as I don't feel like soldering beryllium copper.

I did some checking up on the subject. It appears that soldering BeCu is not that bad, so I made the rest of Beryllium copper.

After all, they may have some benefits.

I hope you are aware that beryllium is a carcinogen and much care should be taken when machining this stuff!!!
