Default Crosses for 2sa608k/2sc536

I've got a thread in trading post looking for the 2sa608k(f) small signal transistors that blew up on the DIY upgrade of my Adcom GFA535 amp. So far no luck.

These are ancient Sanyo parts. What are the critical matching points I need to observe when hunting down a sub? hfe? Max voltages?

I pulled up a chart of Matsushita/Panasonic transistors that are small signal types, low noise, low frequency. If I get complementary pairs, can I be "reasonably" assured that this will work in the Adcom?

Please let me know if you need additional info and I'll be happy to give specs on the current transistors in the Adcom. Muchas gracias!
