Default Need Volume Pots identified and upgrade suggestions...

Could someone please tell me what brand my Volume Pots are in my preamp?
Also, what upgrade would you suggest in these? Center to center between the left and right volume knobs is 1.80", so I would need something that would fit, a Shallco definitely will not fit here...

Hi,

Can you unmount one? There should be a logo or something on them somewhere

Cheers!

Yes, that is the obvious way to find out, but I have already put it back together, hooked everything up and I would have to desolder/resolder some wires...

I was hoping someone here might be able to identify them by sight, so I don't have to do that...

OK, until someone comes along, lets use what info we have....

That white... is that ceramic or plastic?

If it's a cermet pot, an upgrade to something "better" would be pretty pricey.

If plastic, an Alpha would be an upgrade

Cheers!

Ok, thanks

From what I've Googled, they are quality preamps and would likely be cermet.

Are they scratchy?

Cheers!

If you mean by "scratchy" if their is any noise from the pots there is not.
