I am gutting a 1998 HK AV reciever.
What parts should I go for? It uses Toshiba C5242/A1962 output transistors x5 channels (are these rare or out of production?), has 100s of 50V electrolit. caps (which I am taking out). Also has C4370 and A1659 driver transistors x 5 channels. I am not sure that any of this stuff is rare or worth the effort to salvage- except that I know I will use some of the caps. There are green and orange seled caps too, I might take some of those out. Anyway thought I would ask, I'll try to post some pics cause they will be helpful. And you people (carlos!) who like to use coils in your amp outputs, this has a nice prerolled indutor in each of the 5 outputs. Looks like 12 windings of 6-8mm wire.
