I use 4 pscs 22 uf. 63 V pept in the balanced output of my Legato 3.1 analog stage of my Buffalo dac. Seems to me they are much better than I tought. For sure bass is not the problem.

There are some issues with all capacitors, to reduce low frequency distortion you often have to size the value for a lower frequency limit 1/10 of what you expect.

What !

Why is that so ? I make them 10 times BIGGER than most others to reduce transient distortion.

No the problem is found in all capacitors. The more accurate the capacitor the more you will notice it.

Hope to say the same, as soon as I try 6x1uF PETPs in my Yaqin preamp.

They make nice power decoupling / smoothing bypass caps, very warm and present sound, In my particular application I'm getting a bigger warmer sound very smooth yet dynamic, Has a big smooth and warm glowing presentation that envelopes the room. Details not as good as some might suggest but there are still plenty there ie; I'm experiencing a slight smoothing of some transients. Bass is more, bass is not on par quality wise than say a PP, but acceptable and maybe worth the trade off, I'm going to keep em in, and bypass them to try to keep some of their qualities. They are beautiful sounding.
