hello I need a simple monophonic digital volume control.
I have looked DS1669, it is nice but it is only 10K, 50K and 100K. I need a mono volume control of 1K, yet a quite simple circuit. Any suggestions?

Ok, I think I find the solution... I think I can connect a resistor in parallel with the DS1669 digital potentiometer to limit its range to 1K?
