In order to put together a test bed for valve based guitar pre amp set-ups I am looking for anyone that can point me in the direciton of a supplier for a 9pin tube socket that I can use to mount a 12ax7 onto a breadboard based circuit.
I have found a few references online to BBNOVAL systems that look like they fit the bill but have not been able to find anywhere that supplies them. I am happy to get them shipped from out of country but a UK supplier would be kind of useful. Any idea's?? failing that I will have to look at producing my own using a standard socket and a home made PCB board easy enough to do but I would prefer to be able to buy one if I can.

I should probably also say that I am looking to run the valves in a starved configuration as opposed to full plate voltages here so I dont consider it to be particularly hazardous

You can buy them from http://trentonblizzard.com/, but you could probably make them yourself if you have the stuff to do such things.
