Default Vishay or Xicon Resistors

Hi,

has anyone tried these two? part # included as example.

-Xicon MF-RC Series PN# 271-1.87K-RC mouser

-Vishay/Dale CMF50 Series PN# CMF501K8700FHEB digikey

I have used the Vishay Dale ones. Just curious if the Xicon
as just as good since they are half the price.

I would be using them for input signal, attenuator. signal
related, not for power.

I've used those generic 1/4W films in a rotary step att.
and it sounds so crappy. I went back to my alps velvet
and the sound is amazing. so if the Xicon's are similiar
to generic metal films, I'll stick with the vishay's.

thanks.
