H Guys,
I'm ready to buy my own scope and i need to choose between the two tektronix scopes.. they have the same price (100$ each).
TAS 475;Analog: 100MHz, 4-Channel (Stand Alone) > http://www.testmart.com/sp.cfm/ANAOSC/TEK/TAS475.html
2230; Dual 100 MHz, Digital Oscilloscope > http://www.valuetronics.com/Details.aspx?ProdID=7012&Model=Tektronix_2230
My diy audio projects are mainly DACs, and some PIC base projects..
please help me decide which one to buy..
thanks

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I personally have no experience on either (I have a 7904A), but this link may be useful for your purchasing decision:

The TAS 475 is a newer design, that being said it has a more digital scope feel to it. I personally don't like that particular family of scopes. The 2230's are very common, and finding information and parts (should it be needed) will be quite easy. Both have the cursor function which I find is indespensible. Be sure you think about probes, they should be the right ones for the scope to preserve accuracy. These prices are real good.
