I'm looking for a real heavy connector for pcb, like 35 square miillimeters AWG2 or AWG1
. Any idea where to look?

SMD or through-hole?
P-A I remember your last incarnation of a connector only too well, are you having little problems with small parts? Have fun, Hannes

Just make some, that's the easy solution.

With currents THAT large I wonder if the pcb is the limiting factor.
So p2p with AWG1? Nah, that sounds like some serious fun! Hannes

I have driven 475 A through a pcb
I worked with a project which delivered 55 kA! 475 A per pcb.

You mean lightening hit it
Well, if your neighbours can handle it, why not? Have fun, Hannes

Sorry, I forgot the link where you can get 'em if interested
http://www.idealindustries.com/produ...mination/lugs/ I'm using them regularly to hook up 1/0, 2/0 and 250kcmil. Many companies manufacture them. In fact, most electrician or electric component distributor have them on hand. Well... that's it |
