I need a mains transformer with 230V secondary, 20VA minimum.
I really want to use UI-core (or R-core), but I'm having trouble googling up a supplier. RS components carry Block FL series goes up to 52VA, but only goes up to 18V ![]() Digikey and mouser carry UI core Triad and Hammond but only go up to 12VA ![]() MCI make 230V 24VA and 48VA UI core, http://www.mcitransformer.com/i_4-05_2.html but postage from the US is likely to be huge, even assuming they'd be willing to sell me just one or two of 'em ![]() Does anyone know of a UK supplier? |

(is an R-core transformer with 6.3V windings for tube amps, but it has similar size/weight as 30VA types from the regular brands)

www.selectronic.fr carries R-cores, search for 'transfo' - they have a pdf with all variants.
Have fun, Hannes |
