UK source for UI or R-core Transformer?
I need a mains transformer with 230V secondary, 20VA minimum.
I really want to use UI-core (or R-core), but I'm having trouble googling up a supplier. RS components carry Block FL series goes up to 52VA, but only goes up to 18V  Digikey and mouser carry UI core Triad and Hammond but only go up to 12VA MCI make 230V 24VA and 48VA UI core, http://www.mcitransformer.com/i_4-05_2.html but postage from the US is likely to be huge, even assuming they'd be willing to sell me just one or two of 'em Does anyone know of a UK supplier? |

www.selectronic.fr carries R-cores, search for 'transfo' - they have a pdf with all variants.
