Mje243/253

Hi
I have just bought a handfull of MJE243/253 from a UK supplier convinced that it was ON semi. that produces it; But surprisingly it says isc. on the transistors which is a Chinese company.
Question;
Does anybody know the quality of those?
Is it compairable to the original?
Is it worth using at all.?

I had tried some devices from ISC and found them to be a disaster waiting to happen. Though they worked, they got extremely hot (at about 10% of their ratings). A simple change to ONSEMI devices got the amp working well.
