MV16A Diode replacement (spec. provided)

MV16A diode:

V(RRM)(V) Rep.Pk.Rev. Voltage=1.6k
I(RM) Max.(A) Reverse Current=6.0u
@V(R) (V)(Test Condition)=1.6k
I(FSM) Max.(A) Pk.Fwd.Sur.Cur.=16
@t(w) (s) (Test Condition)=10m
V(FM) Max.(V) Forward Voltage=5.0
@I(FM) (A) (Test Condition)=.05
@Temp. (°C) (Test Condition)=25
I(O) Max.(A) Output Current=.05

I need to find a replacement for these diodes. They were used in a pair of electrostatic headphones. I searched Mouser, but couldn't determine if there is a suitable candidate. Thanks!

I've used some very good HV diodes from VMI in projects, in my case a 1N6525. No doubt they'll have something suitable, though the cost might be high.

Are there cheaper alternatives, preferably in axial, with more or less the same specifications?
