hey guys just surfing google and came across this diy hobby scope was wondering if this would be good for audio?

I tend to appreciate someone who can do both hardware and software and bring it all of the way to a sellable product. This paticular idea has been done before, (Pico Scope is one) but those things aside it is a way to get a scope for the bench.
Looks like a DIY project could run about 100 USD to get the parts he sells and a box ect. You are also going to need his serial to USB adapter for another $25.
Probally acceptable for troubleshooting but I would worry about the absolute accuracy, and overall specifications.
You can do pretty well buying used full featured analog scopes for $300 $400 Once again, it has it's place.
