Addendum: Had a look at the Elna catalog, Silmics there appear to be with light brown sleeve and white overprint, lettering looks different. Emailed to Elna with pointer to the auction. Hope to get response.

The printing looks genuine... but there is so many different elna cap ... I have no idea..
my experience with china is mostly bad : - good parts on some products but bad designs : bad copy of usa circuits... - fake parts : opamps, cheap transfo If your very lucky it could be the real deal.... if in doubt DONT buy There is huge manufactures of high quality caps in germany ... why buy the china products.... I just don't get it |

Had a closer look to the catalog: 50V 3300µF are not listed, wires have uneven lenghts. So I´m quite sure they are fake.

You´re so right, Mr. Gabdx1 ...
I´m about to tweak my SymAsym amps (fully active 3-way), want to try Silmics onboard of the mid amps driving E.J. Jordan JX92s. |
