What do you think about RG/RGH series SUSUMU resistor?

Thin film resistors are good. I believe that these are comparable to Vishay/Dale series TNPW, which is also good.

sure why not. they make thin film leaded resistors.

Generally, 1% or tighter tolerance through-hole resistors are metal film (i.e., thin film). Low tolerance resistors (5%) are 'carbon film' (i.e., thick film)

When it comes to SMT resistors the 1% tolerance are generally thick film resistors. Precision SMT resistors (i.e., 0.1%) are thin (metal) film.
