Is it possible to measure the mh of an inductor with a DMM?

Only if it has a funcion to measure inductance, which it most likely does not. Most DMMs have a (rudimentary) C meter, but that's about it.
You'll probably need a LCR meter. |

I've got a very simple schematic to turn a capacitor-meter to an inductor-meter somewhere. Time to find it.
Otherwise, many speaker PC programs allow to measure impedance (Arta-Limp for example). |
