Hi!
Is it possible to connect output of AUX to the input of a voice recorder? The input was previously connected to a microphone but I want it to be connected to the amplifier system output so that I can record the music output from the amplifier system. The input impedance of the voice recorder is 2KOhms. I am using an Olympus VN-2100PC voice recorder. I am not sure of the output impedance of the AUX. thanks. |

AUX is usually in INPUT on amplifiers.
You probably want to use the connector marked "TAPE REC", and you MAY need to add a series resistor or two, particularly since the voice recorder is likely mono, and you need to blend the two stereo outputs of the amplifier. A pair of resistors of 20k to 50k - one from each of L (hot) and R (hot) and common connected to the MIC (hot), ought to work. |
