One trick is to not solder to the post, but rather, run the wire out through holes next to the posts and use the posts as a compression terminal to clamp the speaker cable to the output leads. Bypass the post nearly entirely, for simplest path.
Yes those are the ones i'd choose. The using the binding post is a good trick that i've know for some time... when i get a system well and truly set in place i actually use it...
