nichicon kg electrolytic capacitors

hi..i wanna learn the advantages of nichicon kg capacitors..is it for dc coupling of single ended amps?or is it for power supply of the class ab and class a amps?what is the differences of these capacitors than the other ones?

why are they too expensive?

yes expensive..i know that they are not low esr capacitors..and they are more than double price of other good capacitors..

And less than half the price of yet other good capacitors

In comparison to Panasonic HA per example i would say they are easily worth several times the price. Entirely subjective of course.

http://www.nichicon.co.jp/english/products/pdf/e-nr.pdf here we can see that nichicon nr has more ripple current than kg series..and also has long life..nichicon nr and nt series are cheaper than kg series..so why we pay more ?

Often this is the premium for better sound. How this relates to measurable parameters is anyone's guess.

Mr Pass says that expensive capacitors are nonsense..he doesnt use them..he is using panasonic series..
