Question Transformer Mounting Braces

Does anyone know where to get transformer mounting braces like these to replace end bells? I am trying to move a transformer inside a chassis.

Try 3/8" x 1/16" aluminum strip from the hardware store, a hacksaw and drill.

Don't forget to insulate them from the screws, lest you end up with a "shorted turn".

You can make 50 for the price of 4 from a supplier

Yup. And you can get nice nylon sholder bushings from McMaster.com on catalog page 3180.

Why not just keep the endbells?  I have Mikey making me a pair of EL34 outputs which will go in Zerocase cans for the cuteness, and so I specified bracket mount.  He just today posted me back saying, 'Sonofagun, the four brackets are more expensive than endbells!' I told him to nemmine, just put the endbells on there.  The VT4C Tonyaba choke I want to use was real close to not fitting inside the can, so I just put a cutoff wheel on the Dremel and cut about half the 'bell' part off, 'till it was a little shy of the winding.  Free brackets.
