Question Does anyone have any experience with these caps?

I picked up a bag of caps renently at a surplus sale. They're Sprague 710P polypropylene/foil construction, 400VDC rated. They're huge - about 2.5" long x 1" in diameter.

I can't seem to find any specs on them anywhere. Anyone ever use these? Are they any good?

If I'm remembering correctly, I used some in a RIAA equalizer many years ago. They were not bad as I recall, but I wasn't terribly excited about the preamp sound overall. My construction techniques weren't much good back then (waaay before DIYaudio.com's time )

I still have some of those caps in some analog synth modules I made some time back. They were great in oscillators and filters.

Steel leads as I recall, if you're concerned about that kind of thing...
