Hi Folks,
i need 30 or so Elna silmic II 100V but something like 680uF or even higher capacitance would work great. Unfortunately i can't find anything like that on ebay or other sources. They only have 220uF rated at 100V and that's not enough. If anybody has a stock, please let me know. Best, Stefano.

Let me give you a tip, goggle searching in different languages works wonders.
But you're welcome to knock yourself out on the 1st one :http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&lr...mic+II&spell=1 (not that i would)

i would suggest looking for a different cap cause you wont find Silmic II over 220uf at 100v. Thats the biggest they go. In other words if you find a 100v over 220uf it's fake.
How about Sikorel or Muse?

i fallowed that link jacco left and found a site 3rd one down listing SilmicII RFS from 330uf to 1,000uf @ 100v. It's possible Elna could have made them special order but i would be careful.

yeah, i am surprised too.
Apparently it seems that elna 100V stops at 220uF. I don't know why they have a 1000uF 100V. Anyways i think i am going to get the 1000uF/50V which it should be fine and it's possible, at least, to find them. I am excited to use these caps as they say are the best one. Not sure they are better than BG ...but it's ok. Just one question: i need to use a 220uF coupling cap on the signal path, which BG series is the best sounding for coupling purposes?
