I have checked out Radio-Katoumas but they do not stock toroidal type transformers. They only sell standard type.
Thanks for your reply. George |

What is standard type ?
I don't live in Greece now and I am surprised that Katoumas can't at least tell you who stocks them.In any case you can use other trafos easily at least for the BOSOZ. |

Dear Protos,
Katoumas has only transformers that are not toroidal. If you want a toroidal they can not help you. Thanks George |

Dear friend,
I also nuilt a zenV4 some weeks ago and its very good but you really need high sensitivity speakers with high impendance. Speakers dropping to 1-3 ohms are really not advisable , the you have to built an aleph. Anyway, a good source very oftenly used from fellow DIYers in Athens is Mr Giatras he is quick and cheap too (60Euros for 680KVA), as soon as I am at home I will let you know about his address and tel, he is located in kalithea though. Regards, Panos |

Dear Pano,
Nice to see Greek people on this site. I am building at the moment the Scan SpeaK Reference monitors that have about 87db sensetivity. I am curious if the ZEN4 ia a good choice. Can it drive low sensetivity loudspeakers? If not what is the best choice puting ease of construction first? (I am not an electrician but an economist!!!) I will be waiting for Mr Giatras details also. Thank you George |

Hi
Most of the electronics stores in Athens don't have toroids in stock but you can order them at the store. You give then the specifications (Volt and Amper for each secondary) and of course an advance and they order them for you usually from Giatras (maybe you need to ask specifically). Leon |
