Im very noob to electronics, I have some 200v 680uF capacitors and was wondering if its possible to have them discharge when there full. Or do they just work to hold extra energy if its needed?

they will slowly discharge due to current consumption and/or due to leakage.
But, they can hold charge for many hours and 200Vdc is dangerous if you're careless. |
