I need to find the source for my project.
Motorized potentiometer with integrated LED. I have found ALPS as seen here: http://www.econtrol.org/16-pos_ak.htm there is a hole in the center of the shaft, that's where the light comes of. Please help, finding parts numbers, manuf. thanks Christ |

The one you're linking to looks like an Alps RK16812. If you google the datasheet or check the Alps homepage (alps.co.jp I think) there may be some info on the LED-equipped versions.

It's too bad allelectronics no longer carries them; $3.50 was an absolute bargain for that pot.
I doubt you will find it for that cheap if you can find it at all.

I seem to remember a guy having a lot of these for sale - I thought it was here on DIYA but I can't be sure - IIRC, he tried to remove the LED but broke the pot. Anybody remember this?
