How hard would it be to add Pre-Fader Listen buttons to a little and simple line mixer? I couldn't find anyone who has done somenthing like this.

Has the mixer already got a headphone monitor output?

As you can see its a very simple looking device so it should be rather easy to figure out how it works? And i could even use the useless Phono/Line buttons as the trigger for PFL.
So i figure i just build a basic Summing Op-Amp Amplifier and hook its output to the headphone jack. Then find correct spots to steal the inputs and hook them to the summing device trought those buttons? Does this make any sense? Heres the picture:

It should be a case of as you say a summing op-amp taking it's feeds off the top pin of each fader pot. Don't forget to include a further summing stage to correct the inversion or it may sound funny monitoring in a live situation. Probably needs tracks cutting at the input to the headphone stage to splice the new op-amp output on to.
