Hello,
I am working on turning a schematic into pcb boards, but I do not feel comfortable doing that myself. Does anyone know of anybody who does this, or can point me in the right direction. Thanks, Dan |

I'm not looking for a hand out, as I'm willing to pay for someone's expertise. The only PCB designers I found on the net were more computer designers and didn't really know much about audio. I figured it would be better to find a fellow audiophile to help me out since I know they would take time and care to make it properly.
It is for a tube pre-amp. I have the complete schematic, but I would like to add a muting circuit into the schematic. It would need to be broken down into a pre-amp board, with the tubes and coupling caps, and a power supply board. I can email everything I have, including pics and drawings of the chassis and placement of the boards. Dan |

Hey Dan ...
I wish I had time available on the side to help you out, but I just don't right now.. (3 kids aged 1, 2, and 4... not much time for anything these days) (mods, if this is inappropriate, please let me know) however since you mentioned that you don't mind paying for the work to be done -- I do work for a small engineering services company called Lewis Innovative Technologies (company website) that can help you with what you're looking for... We do everything from basic schematic reviews to complete architecture through production lifecycles.. (both for military and for commercial industries) And being a small company we don't have tons of overhead.. Send me an email or PM with your email address if you're interested and we can start talking about what you want done... Good luck! ..dane |

Hi Dan, if you can use my services this sounds interesting to me.
I have pretty good experience with multi-layer PCB schematic & board designs in my day job as an electrical engineer. I designed and built my own chip-amp based car amplifier & SMPS, all on my own circuit boards & have the appropriate software. Also worked on a car tube preamp myself. You can just let me know what you need done and we could talk about it. Have a good day. |
